A great experience of kind customer service, and memorable great tasting sandwiches! Big Al's in Nixa has a great crew and everyone there seems to love their jobs and has a wonderful attitude. They take excellent care of customers. This small, unassuming place has a menu full of treats - varieties of sandwiches with delicious combos of meats and veggies. Menu has sandwich sizes labeled small 'kids', medium 'mama' and large 'papa'. All subs come on some of the most delicious FRESH-BAKED bread that tastes incredible! We enjoyed a 'mama' Slammy & a 'papa' Gobbler. My family has had the Dirty Bird & cheese-steak and loved those. All the subs were fantastic, fresh-tasting, and came within 5 or so minutes of our order. All the restaurant was clean as a whistle. All the staff was smiling, respectful and working hard. And all the food was wonderfully tasty. Big Al's is outstanding for sandwiches, and I can't wait to try their steak burgers next.

A big yes for me. Open at 10:00 for those of us who eat lunch early. Great atmosphere and the friendliest and most helpful staff I have encountered in a long time. Great variety of sandwiches and of course if you are into seafood there’s that whole vibe too. I had the Big A 6” sub and it was fantastic. If I could give you all more stars I would!

My experience here at Big Al’s was a phenomenal experience the Food, the Atmosphere was perfect in every where and please don’t get me started on that good ole OG cheese steak , also truffle fries were sooo bomb y’all did y’all’s big one!

The place may not look like a lot from the outside, but their food packs a heckin one-two punch of flavor and value. I always go from the Big Papa Beef Philly with extra cheese, but recently my mom's been onto their fajita bowls. She says they're better than the big place that charges extra for guac and she's a snob, so I believe her. Excellent sandwich. Always hit Big Al's. (Well. Not really hit. Don't do that again.)

This place is the best sandwich shop in the 417 area code, and one of the best I’ve ever had. The bread is the best part, but all the ingredients are fresh as well. The service is always great, and it’s a kool little shop.
